Happy Halloween!

It was a dark and stormy night .... There was a sudden hush in the house you could smell it in the air PUMPKIN. Then an awful sight pumpkin gut spilled everywhere. It dripped from their hands and spilled across the floor.

It was the great pumpkin carving of 2008! The boys carved pumpkins last night..... yes we let them do the carving for the most part creepy I know! Justin worked really hard to clean out his pumpkin and get it carved. He designed his and as you will see in the photos it changed as he worked on it. Chase did a little cleaning of pumpkin guts but I think Daddy did most of it. He used a stencil he found on line. They both did a great job. I think I am liking Halloween more as they get older. They were so cute when they were little but now they are more involved with the whole process. I know I am rambling. On to the parade of photos.

Why yes I did get my hair cut and colored thank you very much for noticing! ;D

No we did not save the pumpkin seeds the boys wanted me to but I just did not have it in me to clean them and cook them. We still have two pumpkins so maybe I will roast the seeds from one of those

I love these pumpkins. I'm especially impressed by how the faces fit the particular pumpkin's. Chase's bat off kilter is genius!
